Scholarships

How and when can I apply for a scholarship for the CFA exams?

Students must be in the final year of their bachelor degree program to sit for the first exam.

For a student graduating in May 2018, you may take the Level 1 exam in December 2017 and the Level 2 exam in June 2018.

MSU CFA Scholarships

As a CFA Program Partner, the Finance Department has 15 scholarships for the exams. The scholarship recipients are competitively selected based on a student’s academic performance, commitment to hard work, and desire to embark on the CFA certification process.

Any student seeking a scholarship should submit the following materials by 5 p.m. on January 10, 2018, to 315 Eppley:

  1. A completed CFA scholarship application form.
  2. A current resume.
  3. A list of accounting, economics and finance classes taken and grades in each class.
  4. A brief personal statement.
