Michael and Jeff Thelen were recently accepted into Start-Up Chile (www.startupchile.org), a business incubator created by the Chilean government to promote entrepreneurship. The program accepts ~300 entrepreneurs per year from around the world and provides each start-up team with $40,000, office space for 6 months and a 1-year Chilean visa. Their business Edmond is a financial education and personal finance company focused on helping individuals in Latin America make better financial decisions and reach their financial goals. The business will initially be focused on Chile and Colombia and plans to launch its financial education website in June 2012.
